probably need to consider changing to hid xenon… i have 35w 6000 bulbs in my setup and bluesvt runs 55w 6000’s.

i actually have the 5000k lights (55w) which are killer… great light output, nice white light that doesn’t seem to annoy people as i never get flashed.

got them from retro solutions… discount code: raptor gets you 10% off, they come with lifetime warranty too!

take a look at the piaa h13 4300k, they are the most white bulbs and bright, if you go hid, you really ought to have projection style housings, the hids are insanely bright, but you need better light control.

hid – high intensity discharge lights.

as far as a local auto shop – probably not… internet is the best place for this… bluesvt gave his supplier and if you pm me – i can give you mine…

i did order them, but it will be eight weeks

yehaw ! with the projectors and now potentially hids to blast through the tint, you will have about 1500 + wrapped up in just headlights. can’t wait to see the rest of your mods. have you figured out how to post pics yet? let’s see what this blacked out raptor looks like.

if you want a good stock replacement bulb to hold you over then check out either some silverstars or some philips xtreme powers. i’ve tried both & personally i like the silverstar better. i ended up going the hid route a few weeks later & i’m glad i did.

let us know if we can help with any hid needs! i would suggest going to a projector style housing and adding hid lights, but you already smoked the headlights.

we are offering 25% off to the raptor members until the end of the year! hope we can help
