Customer Response

( The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the answer from the business. ) They are giving a complete run-around because the extent of the damages requested in this case is beyond what any trader can warranty as indicated by what I experienced when I took this trailer into to my local principal. When I inaugural opened this claim, PJ trailers did not ask any such questions regarding anything related to any by repair work unrelated or related to this trouble, which could or could not include welding depending on what context it is used in. They have been trying to push this in their favor after the principal saw the extent of the trailer wrong and realized how bad it actually was. Their welds cracking is a leave of their lack of quality control condition which started as a small unnoticed trouble and led to catastrophic main frame damage ( the actual frame twisted ) that is dearly-won to repair, deeming the trailer useless at this point. Nonetheless, I will still respond to their accusations. Response for Paragraph 1 : I initially opened a claim with PJ who requested that I take the dawdler to their local trader. The dealer scheduled us for bringing in this preview for 1 month after we reported the preview collapse to PJ ( was this already a run-around ? ). The first thing the trader told me when I arrived with the trailer was they could not personally repair the trailer here after seeing the extent of the damages ( why was I sent here when PJ told me otherwise ? ). The trader besides asked what I was towing with the preview and tried to explain to me that the Gross-Vehicle-Wieght-Rating ( GVWR ) stamped on the inside of the trailer didnt mean that you can haul that weight and that I should have been told that when I made my buy. ( I had already clarified the GVWR with PJ and was within the specify ). In accession, and reverse to what PJ told me, minimal information was taken regarding my credentials. The lapp week, the local dealer began to follow-up with calls and threats to charge me storage fees and having the preview towed/impounded trying to get me to remove the dawdler. These calls would happen in a similar time frame when PJ was talking with me on the phone/email to sort this Warranty exit out. They were intentionally trying to force me to remove the trailer so that they would not have to do any Warranty oeuvre on it. These threats forced me to come binding and pick up the preview from the dealer the very lapp week with no Warranty bring even after I was told that I would be taken care of. In the mean time, in my emails with a PJ rep, I was told that I would receive a decision on the guarantee topic, but then never responded when I picked up the trailer from the dealer after the threats I received. Response for paragraph 2 : This is the key to the problem here. The response provided by PJ where they quote their own guarantee policy but do not follow it. If they followed what their policy states then we would not be filing a complaint. I have NOT had this trailer in an accident, neglected, misapplied, or misused this preview. I meet all of that standard. besides, the dawdler has NOT been loaded in excess of the GVWR, so I besides meet that criteria. finally, this preview has not been altered or modified in any classify of way. It is identical to any one of their trailers that they sell now. In fact, this trailer has alone been used for alone 8 months ! PJ states that I the customer, breached the guarantee by performing repair work. I have never claimed such in our conversations but rather have told them the exact the adverse that I have never performed this repair on the trailer. Had I repaired the preview, then the cross-member would have never fell out and the main-frame would NOT have warped to begin with and we would not be asking for guarantee coverage if a repair to the problem was made. Why would I be wasting my time as a consumer to warranty this dawdler if I performed the repair myself ? Response for Paragraph 3 : These are not my words. I have claimed in write and over the telephone that I did not breach your guarantee and that you are amply obligated to repair the preview based on the guarantee policy. PJ office staff likes to play the guarantee policy in their own favor. The Warranty Void statement does not specify as to what is classified as “ haunt function ”. Is welding considered a repair work ? Does it mean that if the preview started cracking at the welds that you ca n’t weld it, even if it ‘s a road-side emergency ? So we would quite have the dawdler capitulation apart on the road and cause an accident ? Why does n’t PJ write a more specific Warranty Statement ? Is this another run-around from potential problems from consumers ? When I made a guarantee request from PJ, this was for ONE and only ONE problem which I am requesting guarantee for and that ‘s to warranty the cross-member which fell out while driving on the road and the main ensnare that twisted/warped which I have requested that they Warranty. Their quality see, design and humble quality components is a leave of the bankruptcy. I have photos that show the poor craft informal cross-member to the main frame which led to the chief frame bowing out under the weight of the besotted trailer. final response : PJ advertises “ 3 year frame guarantee and a 1 year limited guarantee ” I want my preview Warrantied like their policy claims. It appears that PJ needs more supervision in their occupation. They have no pastime in making the right overture when it comes to guard as evidenced by this ailment and other consumers online. They would preferably have a trailer fail aside completely on the road possibly causing a major accident before they will step in to remedy a problem. They are more than probably using low-quality, imported steel ( Mexico or China ? ) to fabricate their trailers which results in problems late on down the road for consumers that we may or may not be able to fix. here is a quote taken from another owner of a PJ dawdler that had to “ re-weld ” some of the factory welds on a PJ trailer. “ Anyone else have PJ Trailer literally start breaking apart on them ? I have a 5 ” Channel buggy hauler that I **** near lost today because they only had about 2 ” of weld entire on the one side of the frame. I can tell they built the deck completly first then place it on the channel yoke leaving fiddling entree for welding. I was identical golden to notice it hanging. Did I mention that I have entirely used this trailer 5 times in 2 years and never anywhere near capacity. ” I have besides provided photograph. There ‘s welds breaking systematically from the back of the preview to the front. One of the more discernible failures is a bracket from the run down holder which is welded to the deck frame, had wholly broke in 2 places cutting open the distribution channel. If the bracket slang hold the bore, then how do we expect to get better choice to hold our dawdler together ? I would like a equitable settlement from this company. They have gone to far with their craft and we as consumers are suffering as a consequence.
