What headlight bulb do the outty’s use?

what headlight fits a 2006 800 max xt can-am

factory is 35w h4 bulbs…. ive used normal automotive 55w with no problems in my outty 400 for about 6 months. the only thing to worry about is low voltage with extended use at an idle. during normal riding there isnt any charging/voltage issues. automotive bulbs are cheaper and brighter.

do you know the bulb #’s that it takes? im wanting to put a set of hid’s in.

i to am running the piias. they really bright compared to stock & with no issues at all.

i beleive you get what you pay for and piaas are were its at……:th_smiliethumbsup:

if you like the piiaa’s your going to love this lighting system im going to install when mine comes in. i have the same hid system in my xp right now and love it..

rutcutter, im sure the hids are awsome, 1 day ill probably go that way. but for regular bulbs piaas are great:smilietwocents:

if you research it for a couple of hours,european and us sites,the phillips is brightest,osram a close second at half the price,then the rest.

got wake hooked me up on these,and until recently,they had to be ordered from europe.
