it’s h7….be careful, don’t exceed the maximum wattage rating. some aftermarket halogens can pull more current. supposedly bright but they mostly generate more heat and have a habit of melting housings and harnesses.

swing for an hid kit if you can. you’ll never have to replace a bulb again. hid color temp 3000k is yellow.

piaa offers an h7 “ion crystal” bulb.

it’s standard halogen bulb with a wacky coating to make light output yellow.

yes it only goes in one way. the housing in the bike only accepts the bulb one way. make sure you don’t touch the bulb, and don’t get any of that bulb grease on it either.

an h7 bulb is an h7 bulb, they’re all alike in bases and connector.

try sylvania silver stars. don’t exceed 70w. you will melt your headlight housing with a 100w bulb.

and i see you say no more than 70 watts or it will melt, but in my searches for bulbs i see some say 12v 55 watts = 100 or 130 watts , does this mean it draws only 55 watts and puts out 100 or more watts, will these type of bulbs melt the light assembly, alot of the bulbs say only 55 watts = 130 watts ????

get ultra’s instead of regular silverstars or better yet get phillips motobulbs. if you want to be seen use amber in the high beam otherwise if you want to see more then another ultra or motobulb.
