Surprisingly, I don’t recall how these came apart 8 years ago and I can’t seem to find any pictures….

I have the headlamps installed/lights are all in, just need to finish up the front grill trim and the bezels. I picked up a new set of bezels, but they didn’t come with mounting hardware. I searched around my miscellaneous hardware and think I found what I needed.

I have (8) stainless screws that are roughly 2″ and (4) shorter ones. I believe the longer ones screw into the header panel through some j nuts, which I need to locate a few more of. The shorter 4 screws go into the grill, pretty straigh forward there.

Short of needing a few J nuts, I have (7) probably missing 1 somewhere, that are white plastic inserts. They almost look like the plastic inserts that are used to mount/adjust the headlights. Any idea where these go in relation to the bezels? I would assume the bezels are mounted flush on the header panel and screwed directly into the J nuts, but maybe these white plastic inserts are used for something.

This looks similar as to what I have.

Any help is appreciated!

That does help – thank you. The extra white inserts I had was throwing me off, thinking they needed to be used somewhere. I already have them on the lower grill, so I should be good to go once I can get a few J nuts.

Appreciate it!

Well, I’ve been side tracked with kids birthdays and work the last few weeks, but I’m getting closer!

Got everything mounted up, fits OK, or good enough. One thing I did notice, on both the passenger/driver in between the low/high bezel, there is that little piece of aluminum trim, maybe 1″ long. If you can see in this picture, both bezels have a little lip/flare that need to be cut back for the aluminum trim to actually fit in place. Has anyone else trimmed these up? My concern is they look like dog crap once I’m done with them. My skills for finish work has never been great What do you all use to trim the bezels if you had to do this as well?

No stamp, but all 4 bezels have the same lip. Must have been easier to just mold them the same….
