The Hyundai Sonata 2020 was launched with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine as a base engine, with a power of 191 hp and a torque of 245 Nm. The optional engine is a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with 180 horsepower and 264 Nm of torque.

The turbo engine is suitable in most driving situations. Acceleration is good, but you have to depress the gas pedal hard to get maximum power. Both engines are equipped with a smooth eight-speed automatic transmission.

The 2020 Hyundai Sonata delivers exceptional driving comfort, even on tough roads and bumps. However, if you choose larger wheels, the car is more difficult to control and jumps more on the road.

The car is well controlled when cornering, but the steering response is poor, it is by no means a sports car, compared to many competitors.

Hyundai Sonata 2020 can accommodate five people. All seats are comfortable, but the upholstery and cushions may be less comfortable on long trips. Hyundai’s digital key appeared in the 2020 Sonata. This feature uses Near Field Communication (NFC) technology to allow Android phone holders to use their phones to lock, unlock, and start the car. You can also share the app with other drivers to give them access to the vehicle.

Charging Capacity

The trunk volume of the Hyundai Sonata 2020 is 0.4 cubic meters. It’s more than average for a mid-size car, and more than what some competitors like the Kia Optima and Toyota Camry offer.

The cargo box is a bit high, so it can be difficult to lift heavy objects. However, the box is open and square, which makes it easy to ship bulky items.
