I noticed a brake fluid leak under the fomite in my garage. After checking under the hood, I noticed brake fluid splattered around engine compartment. When I checked the brake fluid, the peak was loose, and the reservoir was moo. This is the second time I noticed this, and when I checked my VIN # against recalls, there is none for this problen for my finical vehicle. But I know there is a base hit recall in effect for 2001-2002 Tributes for this problem per NHTSA 12v016000. It specifically references the master cylinder reservoir hood, which I think may be my trouble besides.

Had good returned from driving on expressway, pulled into flatulence station, needed to move for another vehicle when brakes failed and pedal went down to floor. Rolled car into bamboozle bank to avoid accident. Noticed fluid leaking around front tires. Had to fill brake fluid reservoir and drive car across street to mechanic. Both front brake hoses were split near base of connection and very cadaver. Both were replaced along with 1 caliper for $ 300. Mechanic stated he never saw both hoses go at once and was surprised they split at only 100,000 miles. Per the internet, many Ford escapes and Mazdas have been experiencing this problem. We could have been killed if we had placid been driving on the expressway. I ‘m certain Ford and Mazda are both aware of this on going problem and have chosen not to remedy it. Have owned many unlike cars throughout the years and have never had to replace a brake hosiery. I hope they do n’t wait for person to die before they decide to do anything about it. On top of the fact I did not have $ 300 to spare for a repair which I feel was evitable on their behalf.

Pulling up to place my order in a campaign through with the car going idle speed when the brakes were applied I heard the battlefront brake line blow causing my car to lose ability to stop. Underneath the brake line was a puddle of brake fluid.

On June 25, 2013 @ 11:00am I called Mazda pot ( reference book call number : 148295420 ) about recalls associated with my Mazda Tribute 2003 and was told that the recalls were not assigned to the VIN numeral of my vehicle. The Mazda representative stated that entirely the seat beat adjustment has been assigned to my vehicle and that I do not qualify for the echo. Mazda will not honor the recall. I bought the Tribute in 2010 from a franchise ; therefore, was not mindful of the recalls. I have been having a batch of problems with the vehicle and have spent a set of money trying to fix it. I have a 13 and 14 class old girls and am a single parent. According to the hark back, the vehicle is not safe. I can not afford right field now to purchase another fomite. I am only asking Mazda to honor the recalls. I received another recall notification within a month of them completing the first recall. This time the recall states that they must replace the leaky master cylinder cap and replace the defective ab module at no cost. So I called my local franchise ( crick case Mazda ) and explained that my vehicle is already showing symptoms that could result in a fire if I were n’t disconnecting the barrage every time I turned off and parked the fomite. To which they said they had no parts so far from Mazda to service the recall, but bring it in anyhow and we ‘ll diagnose the problem. Service coach says they will ask the Mazda rep what they should do in this encase. I have no confidence that they will take care of the problem as they obviously did not do anything on the final recall .

1. The foremost problem I had with my tribute was all the office steering fluid had leaked out, so they replaced the torment and flight feather. 2. And need to be replaced ( a $ 700 caper ) so, I went to Mazda and they said the bracken pads are besides hard for the rotors are are unusually wearing then, they replaced my rotors. 3. The fourth, they told me that the victor cylinder had escape therefore, I had to have them fix that. 5. The fifth, now I am presently dealing with a spatter or cluncking noise that occurs upon dull acceleration of 40 miles per hour with bicycle vibration and besides occurs sometimes at 60 miles per hour now. They have n’t been able to figure out and fix this problem so far. 2002 tribute from the inaugural week there have been problems. 1st the driver side department of the interior door handle stopped working. Plastic musical composition that allows handle to open the doorway had broken. Repaired $ $ $ paid ! 2nd the driver side electric windows stopped working. Motor had to be replaced. Repaired $ $ $ paid ! *** we are now faced with the passenger side inside doorway manage not working, the chief cylinder leaking brake fluid, an offspring with the 5 and 6 spark plugs falling out for the 3rd time in 4 months, the battery cables staying corroded and slow to start, there is some sort of pink in the front passenger wheel. I have replaced the rotors and had early similiar issues with this vehical that seem to be very common problems. I have spent the last 4 hours doing my inquiry and see that there are complaints of this same nature on about every web locate. I do n’t know how hanker the average person will wait on an ‘issue ‘ to become a recall. I do n’t have the patience to unroll the windowpane every time I want to exit the vehicle. not to mention having to ask my passenger to let themselves out in the same manner. I am not going to pay another penny on fixing this vehicle. I have paid for thus many alimony issues that now that I think Mazda should have fixed. When do these complaints become echo reality ? what is my following choice ? I ca n’t imagine how bad it would be to have my class in the car, the locomotive fouls out because of the discharge plug issue, the brakes wo n’t work because of the victor cylinder leak, the battery cables corroded and preventing the windows being able to let down to out. I will contact my dealer tomorrow and work out the recalls I was not aware of, hopefully we can get our door locks fixed besides ! .
