It is called a torx screw and you can purchase a cheap set at oriellys. They look like the old scholl allen wrenches.

Well you can use a 10 socket with a power handle,, or a 6 tip star driver… Me I’d just used a bladed screwdriver ,, once it fits between two points it will turn and work to adjust the lamps..

Open your hood. Look right above your headlights just inside the hood area, you’ll see a small steel rod sticking up. To it’s outside, against the fender is another one. They have tiny hex heads on them. Find a good fitting socket and adjust away. The fender side rod is in and out, the inside one is up/down.

open the hood [at nite time] turn headlights on, face car towards garage door or brick wall.you will need a star type screw driver, at top of the headlights you will see where the ajustment screws are, if you’ve wrecked your car, you’ll need replacement assemblies. if not, it’s a spmple process, with lights on and facing a wall, simply turn the star screws to adjust the headlights left to right, or up and down.it’s a problem-if you do not have the right tool to adjust them! habor freight has the right tools to do what you need! or autozone, advance automotive, nappa, even sears, they have what you need[toolwise]but you will need to adjust them in the dark while your vehicles facing a wall.have a flashlight handy[tip] hope this helps and merry christmas! and as always, please repost your question if you need further assistance!

Headlights need adjusting

The headlights will have small rods or adjusting screws located near the headlight mounting points. Will probably need a torx socket or screwdriver to adjust. Torx is a 6 point type screw.
