Talking about screws: I just bought the car and it did not come with screws for the rear license plate. I bought like 3 sets of screws and none seem to fit properly -most are too long- where on earth can I buy them? what size are they?? It’s an ’05.

Thanks!

Did you ever figure this out? I just got an 06 and have this exact problem. The two screws for the rear plate are also larger than the four screwholes in the front plate holder.

Does anyone know the size for these???

I’m always afraid someone’s going to steal it right off my car if I get those…

Don’t get your screws from home depot. They’re going to rust and seize up. Dealer is the way to go. Learned that the hard way…

Much cheaper option: You can get stainless steel button style hex bolts for like a $1 or less from places like True Value and possibly Pep Boys or Sears hardware with their little hardware bins. Looks like this:

Had the same bolts on my plate for about 5 years now and they still look great with no rust.
